Little Things

It's the little things, really it is. I received my order from Artbeads.com, which they always wrap in a little piece of purple tissue paper. For some reason, that little piece of purple tissue makes the order seem special and important... although Luann Udell once mentioned ordering from a company that includes a Tootsie Roll with each order...

Hmm....

Anyway, I received the Swarovski crystal beads for the new batch of earrings, and they're so gorgeous, I just wanted to include a photo here. I'll be working on those in the coming weeks. I'm thinking of trying out an Etsy shop as an outlet for my earrings and necklaces.... I'd be interested in hearing any thoughts on Etsy if anybody cares to comment!

Melissa, thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment! I'm commenting here because I love these beads. I don't make jewelry, but I get excited over pretty baubles.
Thanks for the idea on starting a group. I'm considering it. The current group I'm with is nice, but they don't seem to be motivated to do much, though they're lovely women.
Are you a member of any webrings? Those drive traffic to your blog. I am a member of a few, but since my style has changed I don't think that those people coming through the rings care for my work, and my numbers have decreased. I need to find a different web ring to join.

I noticed the webring links on your site, and I really don't know how they work. But from what you said, I'm not sure if I could find any that would fit in with the kind of work I do. I'll look into it though, thanks! I was thinking about your situation, and my comment, and I think that the key is really having goals. Then, at least, you can take definite steps to get there. Even if they're small goals...What we started to do with our group was to set monthly goals, and I found that really helpful. Anyway, thanks for leaving a comment. I'll try to check in and see how it goes for you!
